Art on the Trails Closing Ceremony – Sept 17

There are only ten more days to enjoy this year’s Art on the Trails exhibit at Beals Preserve. The good news is that on the final day, you can join the Closing Ceremony and hear poetry inspired by the Transformation themed exhibit.

The ceremony will feature “a walk through the woods to stop at each work and hear poetry read by the poets”. At the event, poetry juror Joanne DeSimone Reynolds will award prizes for this year’s poetry and juror Sarah Alexander will award the prizes for the art installations. (You can read about the winners and Honorable Mentions in each category here.)

The event will take place on Sunday, September 17th, from 3:00 – 5:00 pm. Organizers are requesting that those planning to attend RSVP on Facebook.

Between now and then, the exhibit is open to the public from dawn to dusk. If you’re planning to explore it for the first time, check out my post here with the map and a photo gallery.
