- No NSBORO School: Northborough-Southborough public schools have the day off due for the Yom Kippur holiday.
- Walking Group for Seniors (8:30 am) @ Trottier Middle School’s outdoor track: Free weekly walking group organized by the Southborough Senior Center. Walkers generally go for an hour, but continue for as long as you wish. The location is a loop, so feel free to join late.
- Junior Farmer for a Day (9:00 am – 12:00 pm) @ Chestnut Hill Farm: A special drop-off program will give children in grades K-5 the experience of what it’s like to be a farmer. . For details, see related post.
- Preschool Story Time (10:30 – 11:15 am) @ Southborough Library Children’s Room: Ages 2-5 are invited for stories and a craft based on a weekly theme. No registration required. For details, see related post.

- NSBORO Wellness Day: School is in session for Northborough-Southborough public schools – but no homework, tests, or quizzes can be assigned due to Yom Kippur.
- Preschool Story Time (10:30 – 11:15 am) @ Southborough Library Children’s Room: Ages 2-5 are invited for stories and a craft based on a weekly theme. No registration required. For details, see related post.
- Books with Bunnies (11:00 am – 12:00 pm) @ Chestnut Hill Farm: An interactive story time for preschoolers (with a parent/caregiver) in the bunny garden with the farm’s Flemish Giant Rabbits hopping about. Pre-registration (and fee) required. For details, see related post.
- Bridge (12:00 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: A weekly card group, welcoming new participants. For details, contact the Senior Center at 508-229-4453.
- Teen Leadership Team (5:00 – 6:00 pm) @ Southborough Library Teen Room: The library is looking for teen ideas for programs and services. Teens committed to making their voices heard are invited to a seasonal meeting with refreshments.
- Select Board Office Hours (6:00 – 7:00 pm) @ Town House Hearing Room, 17 Common St: Residents are invited to drop in to informally speak with two Board members about any questions, concerns or interests. This session will be hosted by members Sam Stivers and Marguerite Landry.
- Poetry Workshop (6:30 – 8:30 pm) @ Southborough Library, main level: Bring in five copies of original poetry to share. The group will provide supportive feedback. If you don’t have a poem, come anyway and share your insights. (Meets twice monthly.)
- Geeks Who Drink Trivia Night (8:00 – 10:00 pm) @ Owen O’Leary’s, 50 Turnpike Rd: Weekly Trivia game night with prizes. For details, see dedicated post.

- Therapy Dog Session (4:00 – 5:00 pm) @ Southborough Library, main floor: Drop by the library to have a visit with Glory the Pet Partners Certified library dog!
- MBTA Communities Multi-Family Zoning Info Session (6:30 pm) @ Public Safety Building training room, 32 Cordaville Road: The Southborough Planning Board is again inviting the community to learn about the multi-family by-right zoning coming to Southborough and provide feedback. - Library Building Open Forum (7:00 pm) @ Southborough Library, main floor: The Library will host a second forum to solicit public feedback on the library structure and services to help plan for the future. For details, see dedicated post.

- Preschool Farm Explorers (10:00 – 11:00 am) @ Chestnut Hill Farm: For ages 2 years 9 months to 5 years old, Adult supervision required. Pre-registration (and fee) required. (discount for younger siblings and free for siblings under 1.) Little farm explorers will become immersed in what life is like at Chestnut Hill. Each session has a different theme. (Offered weekly.) - Tech Time (4:00 – 5:00 pm) @ Southborough Library, Teen Room: Weekly drop-in session to get help from a librarian or teen volunteer. Learn about the Library’s apps and databases, get guidance on your devices, and have tech questions answered.
- Wild Medicinals Foraging Workshop (6:00 – 7:30 pm) @ Chestnut Hill Farm: Learn how to identify medicinal plants and wild food in gardens and surrounding woodlands in this leisurely walk around the farm. Pre-registration (and fee) required. For details, see related post.
- Pickling for Kids (5:00 – 6:00 pm) @ Southborough Library, main floor: Parents with children ages 4-9 years old are invited to join Chestnut Hill Farm to learn how to make their own pickles without using heat. For details, see dedicated post.
