The Planning Board has been asking the public to come to their sessions to learn about and provide feedback on zoning to be written for by-right denser housing in town. But it turns out, they may have done too good a job advertising the in-person option.
After a turnout well beyond the attendance capacity for the first session, the board is now warning the public that attendance tonight will be capped. But the public is also welcome to join them online.
The updated agenda for the meeting tonight (Wednesday, September 27th at 5:30 pm) states:
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Due to capacity issues at the Public Safety Building Meeting Room, we will only be allowed to have 49 attendees in person. This meeting will be televised live, and residents can attend via Zoom and participate virtually

The forums are to help the board make decisions on the multi-family zoning is “Coming to Southborough” under the state’s MBTA Communities regulations.
