Southborough artist Kay Hendrick will be one of over 50 artists participating in an open studio event at Fountain Street Studios in Framingham this weekend.
Fountain Street Studios is the largest artist community in Metrowest. It’s housed in the historic Bancroft Building in Framingham, which this year is celebrating its 100th anniversary.
Hendrick, a collage and mixed media artist who has previously exhibited at the Southborough Arts Center, writes on her website that her work “explores the human psyche and its relationship to the world as influenced by factors such as family, religion, current events, and environment.”
The open studio event runs tonight with a preview from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. The studios will be open on Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. You can find more information and directions on the Fountain Street Studios website (www.fountainstreetstudios.com).
