As a novice photographer, Photoshop is a key tool in my arsenal. It’s very rare that I’ll get my camera settings just right or the image composed exactly as I envisioned, so it’s nice to know I’ve got some serious post-processing power to fall back on.
But the problem is, I know how to use just a fraction of the available tools in Photoshop. So, I really should consider signing up for the Photoshop Basics Workshop being offered at the Arts Center this weekend. Here’s a description:
This one-day workshop will introduce digital camera users to the photo editing process. Learn the foundations of image correction, resizing, printing, and digital collages, as well time to address questions that arise as one learns to navigate digital imaging through Photoshop. Laptop with Photoshop is required.
The class happens on Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. Cost is $40. To register, call the Arts Center at 508-481-9351.
