Leaving comments on this blog is one way to communicate with the candidates in this year’s town election, but an even better way is to attend a candidate night and hear from those running for office live and in-person. This year you’ll have two opportunities to do so.
The first, sponsored by the Southborough Democratic Town Committee, comes on Monday, April 26, at 7:00 pm in the Fire Station meeting room. All candidates running for office this year have been invited to attend the event.
The second candidates night will be held on Tuesday, May 4, at 7:00 pm at the Southborough Public Library. This event will be for just the candidates for selectmen. Incumbent Sal Giorlandino and challenger John Rooney will each give an opening statement and then audience members will have a chance to ask questions.
All residents are invited to attend either or both events. Town elections are on May 10. A complete list of candidates can be found here.
Update: When I originally posted this I said all candidates were invited to the event at the Library. Turns out it’s only the candidates for selectmen, so I updated the post.
