When the Southborough Genealogy Club gathers this Thursday — 7:00 pm at the Southborough Library — they won’t be talking about family histories, but house histories.
You can research the history of your house whether it is 20 years old or 150 years old. Marian Pierre-Louis will speak on how to find the deeds to a house, chain a deed and locate other sources of information, such as the U.S. federal census records. Come learn some tricks to get the most out of your house history research. This talk is appropriate for both beginners and those who have some research experience.
The Southborough Library Genealogy Club meetings are free and open to the public. Meetings are at the Library, 25 Main Street in Southborough. Call the Library to register or for more information, at 508-485-5031. This talk is funded through a grant from the Southborough Cultural Arts Council.
Gather up your family history notebook and join us at the Southborough Public Library for the Southborough Public Library Genealogy Club — Thursday, April 22 — and learn more about researching house histories.
