There are some 300+ marked graves in Southborough’s Old Burial Ground located between the library and Pilgrim Church. But that’s nothing compared to the more than 700 graves that lie unmarked.
Two years ago, the Southborough Historical Society commissioned a ground-penetrating radar survey of the cemetary to locate unmarked graves. Why is it that an unmarked grave seems so much spookier than a marked one?
