- Walking Group for Seniors (8:30 am) @ Trottier Middle School’s outdoor track: Free weekly walking group organized by the Southborough Senior Center. Walkers generally go for an hour, but continue for as long as you wish. The location is a loop, so feel free to join late.
- Preschool Story Time (10:30 – 11:15 am) @ Southborough Library Children’s Room: Ages 2-5 are invited for stories and a craft based on a weekly theme. No registration required. For details, see related post.
- Town Election (6:30 am – 8:00 pm) @ Trottier Middle School gym, 49 Parkerville Road: The annual election of Town and school officials. For details, see dedicated post.
- Senior Technology Help (time) @ Southborough Senior Center: Pre-registration is required (and it may be full) for a timeslot to get free answers to questions about your devices. For details, see related post.

- 2nd & 3rd Grade Book Group (4:00 – 5:00 pm) @ Southborough Library, Eaton Room: Monthly Book Club with discussion and activities. For details, see related post.
- Postponed –Select Board Office Hours (6:00 – 7:00 pm) @ Town House Hearing Room, 17 Common St: Residents are invited to drop in to informally speak with two Board members about any questions, concerns or interests. This session will be hosted by members Al Hamilton and Sam Stivers. [Editor’s Note: I missed that this session was rescheduled to May 28th due to the election today.]
- Laugh & Learn: The Power of the Positive (6:30 pm) @ St. Mark’s Episcopal Church’s Stephens Hall, 27 Main St: Seats will be limited for this by-ticket-only event which is part of Mental Health Awareness month. The guest speaker will “help us to find the positive when things are tough”. For details, see dedicated post.
- Poetry Workshop (6:30 – 8:30 pm) @ Southborough Library, main level: Bring in five copies of original poetry to share. The group will provide supportive feedback. If you don’t have a poem, come anyway and share your insights. (Meets twice monthly.)
- Geeks Who Drink Trivia Night (8:00 – 10:00 pm) @ Owen O’Leary’s, 50 Turnpike Rd: Weekly Trivia game night with prizes. For details, see dedicated post.

- Author Talk with Bob Ainsworth (12:00 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: This event for seniors requires pre-registration and may already be full. (There is also a suggested $6 donation for lunch.) For details, see related post.
- Therapy Dog (4:00 – 5:00 pm) @ Southborough Library, Eaton Meeting Room: Destress and relax by spending some time with Julie and glory, a pet partners certified therapy dog. For adults, teens, and kids.
- Read to a Dog (6:30 – 7:30 pm) @ Southborough Library, Children’s Room: Register for kids ages 5+ to get a chance to read to a therapy dog. Please register in the Children’s Room (or you can email kivers@southboroughma.com or call 508-485-5031).
- Southborough Rotary Club (7:00 – 8:00 pm) @ Southborough Library, main floor: Regular meeting of the Rotary Club of Southborough. New and prospective members are always welcome. (Held on the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of the month.)

- Baby/Toddler Storytime (11:00 – 11:45 am) @ Southborough Library Children’s Room: A weekly program for ages 0-2 years with their parents/caregivers. Each session will include puppets and music. No registration required. For details, see related post.
- Young Scientists STEM Beginnings (1:00 – 1:45 pm) @ Southborough Library: This is a free 6-week in-person series for children, ages 3-6 to learn STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) concepts through hands-on activities, story time and simple experiments.. - Genealogy Club (2:30 – 4:00 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: The Club welcomes drop-ins by new members interested in learning more about their own family history and genealogy. For details, see related post.

- Gardens That Work (6:30 – 8:00 pm) @ Southborough Library’s outdoor pollinator garden: All are welcome to join the meeting of the Native Pollination Preservation Garden Club. (In event of rain, it is held indoors.) For details on this month’s meeting see flyer right.

- Coding for Kids (Elementary) (12:30 – 1:30 pm) @ Southborough Library, main floor: Registration is required for this free event in which Iridium Tutoring will introduce kids in grades 3-5 to block coding through Wonder Dash Robot. To register, click here.
