Monday, July 29, 2024
- Walking Group for Seniors (8:30 am) @ Trottier Middle School’s outdoor track: Free weekly walking group organized by the Southborough Senior Center. Walkers generally go for an hour, but continue for as long as you wish. The location is a loop, so feel free to join late.
- Knitting Club (1:00 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: Social knitting group — scheduled to meet weekly this summer. Beginners are welcome and supplies will be provided, though you can also bring your own and “any creation you are working on”.
- Teen Craft Club (2:00 – 4:00 pm) @ Southborough Library, Teen Room: Tweens & teens ages 10+ can drop in weekly to make recycled art crafts. No registration necessary.

- Bridge (12:00 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: A weekly card group, welcoming new participants. For details, contact the Senior Center at 508-229-4453.
- Magic Show (4:00 pm) @ Southborough Library Lawn: Ed Popielarczyk returns to the library magic to amaze kids. (Inside if there is inclement weather.) Sponsored by The Friends of the Southborough Library. For details, see dedicated post.
- Geeks Who Drink Trivia Night (8:00 – 10:00 pm) @ Owen O’Leary’s, 50 Turnpike Rd: Weekly Trivia game night with prizes. For details, see dedicated post.

- Walking Group for Seniors (8:30 am) @ Southborough cemetery, 11 Cordaville Road: Free weekly walking group organized by the Southborough Senior Center. Walkers generally go for an hour, but continue for as long as you wish. The location is a loop, so feel free to join late.
- Buildwave for Teens (3:00 – 4:00 pm) @ where: The event for ages 12+ requires pre-registration. This “building event that feels like a gameshow” has participants build with waves of materials like Lego®, Plus-Plus®, and more.. For details, see dedicated post.
- Outdoor Story Time (4:00 pm) @ Southborough Library lawn: Bring a blanket and listen to stories outside on the lawn! This event is for families with kids of all ages, no registration is required. (In inclement weather, this will move to the Children’s Room.)
- Southborough Summer Concert Series (6:00 – 8:00 pm) @ Neary’s Outdoor Stage, 53 Parkerville Road: Southborough Recreation’s free weekly family friendly outdoor concert series. Bring your dinner or buy one there from a food truck. This week’s featured act is Last Call Radio. For details, see dedicated post.

- Mah Jongg (10:00 am) @ Southborough Senior Center: The weekly program would love new players to join. Feel free to stop by to watch or talk to one of the players to see if you would be interested. For details, contact the Senior Center at 508-229-4453.
- Youth Nature Club (11:00 am – 12:00 pm) @ Southborough Library, Teen Room: Tweens & teens ages 10 -18 are invited to join a club to help with the library’s veggie garden and other outdoor activities.

- Dull Men’s Club (10:00 am) @ Southborough Senior Center: Casual social club for senior men. New members are always welcome to drop in. For details, see dedicated post.
- Kids Jam (11:00 – 11:30 am) @ Southborough Library Children’s Room: Newborns through preschoolers are invited to dance and sing. No registration necessary. Sponsored by the Friends of the Southborough Library. For details, see related post.
- Canasta (11:15 am) @ Southborough Senior Center: A weekly card group. For details, contact the Senior Center at 508-229-4453.
- Board Games (2:00 – 4:00 pm) @ Southborough Library: Ages 10+ are invited to drop in weekly to play a nature themed board game, led by Youth Services Librarian Marianna.
