A week from tonight, the Southborough Library will host a public forum. Patrons/residents are encouraged to give feedback that will help them with their strategic planning.
Unlike the forums last fall, the feedback will not focus on the Library’s building. It will be geared more towards discussions about programming and services.
The Library invites:
Please join a staff member from the Massachusetts Library System and for an evening to provide feedback for the next 5-year strategic plan of the Southborough Library. Attendees will engage in a brainstorming exercise.
The event will take place at the Library on the main floor, on Wednesday, August 14th.
All members of the public at all ages are welcome and encouraged to come and participate. This is a drop in session. You do not need to pre-register to participate.
If the date doesn’t work for you, stay tuned for the date of a second session being planned for September.
For readers who are wondering about the outcome of last year’s forums on the Library’s facilities. . . The Library Trustees did follow through with filing for a state grant for a building design project under the Massachusetts Public Library Construction Program. The MPLC is expected to respond sometime next month. (So stay tuned for news on that as well.)
