Apothecary Artists: Grand Opening of new location

The group of artists that opened a studio/gallery in a former downtown pharmacy in 2021 has relocated to a new downtown location.

Apothecary Artists Studios and Gallery is excited to invite the community to their new and improved space “for a fun kickoff event” over Heritage Day weekend.

Apothecary Artists Grand Opening flyer (large)The celebration will take place on Sunday, October 13th from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at 11 Main Street. The Artists will offer a tour and refreshments. Plus, there will be craft activities for kids and adults. (Click image right to enlarge flyer.)

The business is owned by Southborough residents Patrick Steele, Chelsea Bradway, and Emily VanNort. They invite:

We have had a lot of town community support, and we plan to give back to all of YOU! This is really about being part of the community, giving people a place where they can be themselves, do art, buy locally made items, be social and hopefully learn something.

The studio’s shop will be selling “local artists’ jewelry, pottery, soap, photographs, art, and more”.

And while you are there, you can talk to the artists about opportunities to enjoy/make use of their space/services.

The artists will be offering future classes (including for children and for kids with special needs).  They also plan to hold monthly/bi-monthly art exhibits (featuring other artists’ works).

Plus, the gallery space can be rented for events, “book clubs, baby showers, movie nights, you name it, we will do it”.

Each of the three artists will have their own studio space (including a photo studio for Bradway’s All Things Sparkley photography business).

The new space is in the basement level of the downtown multi-business building. (I’m told it is the spot that Theracopia originally occupied years ago.) Look for their soon-to-be-installed sign.

The new studio will also be open from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm on Heritage Day, Monday, October 14th.
