The Southborough Library is bringing back Dungeon & Dragons to the Library next week for a “one-shot campaign”. Kids ages 10-14 are invited to sign up to join them.

The event will take place at the Library on Wednesday, October 23rd from 3:30 – 6:00 pm.

The session is an intro for tweens/young teens who have never played, as well as a welcome return for those who were part of a program launched on the same day last year.

D&D library flyerIf you somehow aren’t familiar, D&D is a table top fantasy game. Players each take on roles and are led through an adventure comprised of a combination of choices, and chance (based on roles of the dice).

Action is generally led by a Dungeon Master. The library held multiple sessions last year, but the program ended when they lost their “DM”.

Now they are bringing in a new DM for the one-time game play. Players will be provided, pre-made characters. Registration is required here.

The program is sponsored by The Friends of the Southborough Library.
