I ran into Karen White with the Southborough Food Pantry this morning, and she told me the pantry is in dire need of contributions. You can help by putting a bag of nonperishable food by your mailbox tomorrow morning.
Donations will be collected Saturday as part of the annual U.S. Postal Service Stamp Out Hunger food drive. Southborough postal carriers will participate for the first time this year.
All you have to do is place nonperishable food in a bag, then place the bag next to your mailbox. The postal carriers will do the rest. Please be sure to check expiration dates to make sure canned, boxed, and other goods are not expired.
