This weekend, Southborough kids are invited again to strut their stuff on the Trottier running track. The 4th annual Kids Turkey Trot is scheduled for Sunday, November 17th.
The free fun is hosted by Southborough Kindergroup. Once again, kids of all ages are welcomed to join the series of fun runs.
Although participation is free, registration and a completed waiver are required (here).
The event will take place at 49 Parkerville Rd. Check-in begins at 9:00 am and races start at 10:00 am.
Age categories span from a stroller race to ages 8+.
There will be free coffee, donuts and other snacks, plus music and prizes. Of course, the real prize is getting to watch the adorable tots and proud kids run their “trot” on the outdoor track.
“In the spirit of Thanksgiving” organizers will again collect donations for the Southborough Food Pantry at the event. A list of their current needs can be found on their website, www.southboroughfoodpantry.org.
