Algonquin is promoting “Something comedically sinister” coming to their stage next week. This fall’s high school musical is “The Little Shop of Horrors”.
The event is again being paired with a Candygram fundraiser for NSMA (Northborough-Southborough Music Association).
The GonkStage production will take place on the evenings Thursday, November 21 through Saturday, November 23rd. The shows will run from 7:00 – 9:30 pm.
The school promotes:
Join us as Seymour, a timid florist, discovers a man-eating plant that brings him fame at a deadly price. Packed with catchy songs, dark humor, and unexpected twists, this classic musical promises to keep you entertained from start to finish. Don’t miss the chance to see our talented cast and all-student crew bring this quirky story to life on stage. Come watch the chaos unfold—just beware of Audrey II and don’t feed the plants!
Admission is $15 per adult and $10 per student. To pre-purchase tickets, click here.
NSMA is using the musical as an opportunity to raise funds. They are selling $5 candygrams to be given to members of the play’s cast, stage crew, or pit orchestra after the performance you designate.
Proceeds go to NSMA which supports music education in the Northborough Southborough school district.
Online orders must be entered prior to the midnight before each performance. Alternatively, you can purchase candygrams in person that night, but NSMA urges, “pre-orders are helpful for planning purposes”. [Note: The tinyurl ends in Audrey-II, not Audrey-11.]
