The Southborough Historical Society is using a “Classical Christmas Concert to raise funds for the History and Arts Center they are seeking to open in Fayville Village Hall.
A bonus for those who are interested in historic preservation, the event will be held in the Deerfoot Mansion estate (formerly known as the Burnett/Garfield house).
The event is limited to 45 people. SHS President Michael Weishan informed me that as of last night there were still a few seats left. So act quickly if you’re interested.
The Southborough Historical Society is pleased to invite you to an hour-long program of classical and popular holiday music provided by an ensemble of strings and clarinet from the Clafin Hill Symphony Orchestra. The concert begins at 4:30 in the historic Deerfoot Chapel, 84 Main Street, followed by a reception of warming beverages and delicious nibbles in the restored carriage house. Tickets are $75 ($65 for members) and limited to 45 persons, so act quickly as they will sell out. All proceeds to benefit the new History and Arts Center at Fayville Village Hall.
