Every fall, before Thanksgiving, local artisans from Southborough and the surrounding area hold a special shopping event at the Southborough Community House. This year, the event is expanding with a second location across the way.
This year’s “Winter Market” will be held on Sunday, November 17th from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. As always, admission to the market is free.
The event will be co-hosted at the Community House (28 Main Street) and Apothecary Artists (in the 11 Main Street professional building).
The Facebook event and flyer promote:
Shop locally this holiday season at Southborough’s annual sale. Find beautiful handmade items for everyone on your shopping list or book a holiday photoshoot with All Things Sparkley!

Despite the image in the flyer, no snow is in this week’s forecast. I’m guessing the “winter” theme and image are to get you in the mood for shopping for the kinds of things that you may not want to wait until after Thanksgiving to buy. That could be some early holiday gift shopping. But you could also shop for winter clothing/accessories, and items to decorate yourself or your home for holiday festivities.
I don’t have a list of this year’s vendors. But artisans at past markets at the Community House have sold knitted goods, apparel, jewelry, accessories, lotions and lip balms, ornaments and holiday decor, home decor, and more. It’s also worth sharing the Facebook post from Apothecary Artists showing off some of the goods they were selling in their gift shop area last month:
Note: It may be too late for vendors who want to join the market, but maybe not. If your interested in having a booth, you can email Chelsea Bradway at chelseabradway@gmail.com (or message her through Facebook).
