Last week, Southborough Rec opened up indoor pickleball opportunities to start in early December. Most quickly filled up, but there are a couple options available now. Act quickly to take advantage.

Although lessons are full, two “non-instructional” sessions are open for adults ages 18+. The Thursday morning time slots (at 10:00 or 11:00 am) are offered at $30 for six weekly 60 minute playing blocks.

The available time slots are only for playing Levels 2-3.25, “Some experience/Beginner Level”. (There were also intermediate-advanced level sessions, but those are full.) You can check whether that skill level is right for you here.

The registration page urges:

Due to the limited space, please register only if you know you will be able to make most, if not all of the dates and times.

The courts are in a room on the top floor of the South Union Building/Recreation Center, 21 Highland St. The website explains:

a single court is available to all those who register within their chosen time frame. . . Only 6 players will be permitted each time block – 4 playing at a time, 2 for alternates.

Although Rec will have balls on hand, players should bring their own rackets.
