A quick reference guide to when Town facilities are closed over the holiday break.
Thanksgiving is more than just a day of thanks. Most people — whether traveling, cooking, or hosting a gathering — take a little time off from work before and/or after the day. So it’s not surprising that municipal facilities will be closed for more than just Thursday.
Here’s what’s closing early and/or staying closed longer.
Southborough Senior Center
Closes at noon on Wednesday and remains closed through the weekend.
Southborough K-8 public schools and Algonquin Regional High School
NSBORO Schools have early dismissals on Wednesday. (Dismissal times by schools are ARHS at 11:06 am, Trottier at 10:50 am, Neary at 11:50 am, Woodward at 12:05 pm, and Finn K-1 at 12:20 pm and Pre-K at 11:00 am.) Closed through the weekend.
Southborough Library, Town House, Town Offices, and Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School
Regular hours on Wednesday, but closed Thursday through the weekend.
Transfer Stations
Open for regular hours on Wednesday and Saturday. Closed Thursday and Friday.
