Happy Thanksgiving Southborough!
Here are a few reminders as we head into the holiday. (The forecast isn’t ideal for the two popular outdoor events that usually draw a crowd, but the rain shouldn’t result in any changes.)
- Thanksgiving Closures: For a reminder of the early and/or extended holiday closures for Town facilities, click here.
- Gobble Wobble @ Trottier Middle School, 49 Parkerville Road: The popular annual 5k timed race and 2 Mile walk to raise funds for Friends of Southborough Recreation. Registration opens at 7:00 am for the 8:30 am race. For details and registration/volunteer signup links, see dedicated post.
- Thanksgiving Day Football Game (10:00 am) @ Algonquin Regional High School Football Stadium, 79 Bartlett St, Northborough: The annual rivalry match between ARHS and neighboring Westborough is the first in the new Gonkplex Stadium. (Unfortunately, as I explained in a recent post, the odds aren’t in the Titan’s favor this year.) Tickets are $5 each online in advance or $10 at the gate.
