Northborough-Southborough Lacrosse teams registration periods opened last month. That means the deadlines are approaching. The sport is open to boys and girls in both towns in grades 1 through 8.
Below is the info for the Northborough-Southborough leagues.
Boys – Northborough-Southborough Youth Lacrosse
The website doesn’t give a strict deadline for signing up, but states, “If you need a uniform, please order before the deadline of 12/31. Late orders will likely not arrive in time for the season.”
The season starts with indoor practices in early March. Games are on Sundays (mostly)* with practices varying by grades. You can find more info on that under the website FAQs.

Girls – Northborough-Southborough Girls Lacrosse
For NSGL, the registration deadline is January 1st. However, a flyer notes that there are waitlists each year, since rosters fill up.
Practices for girls in grades 3-8 begin in March (in indoor facilities) and continue through early June.
The younger Bitty Boro players in grades K-2 have a shorter seasons of 6-8 weeks in April and May.
Like the Boys, the Girls’ games are on Sundays with varying practice schedules. See the flyer right for details.

*NYSLA describes all but one age groups’ games as taking place on Sundays. For the U11 (3rd & 4th grade) team, it qualifies that the weekly game is “usually on Sunday”.
