NSBORO Schools issued an alert this afternoon that a Mass Pike Closure could cause bus delays.
Hopefully everyone’s home by now, but here’s some clarification on what happened.
For those who missed the news, Dept of Transportation (MassDOT) closed the westbound lanes of the Mass Pike this morning after cracks were discovered. Repairs are underway. The lanes aren’t expected to be reopened until around 8:00 pm tonight.
In the meantime, commuters are directed to take alternate routes. And given Southborough’s location, that could cause some traffic snarls that impact the buses. (Not to mention commuters!)
