Last summer, the Southborough Library launched a monthly “Youth Nature Club”. This growing season, they are inviting middle and high schoolers to join them bi-weekly — starting next week.
The group will help care for the library’s seasonal veggie garden and its native plant garden. They’ll also “join in nature-themed activities”. A new flyer promotes:
Volunteers are invited to take leadership roles and explore ways to support local wildlife and sustainability in the library.
Participating in the club can count towards volunteer credits.
The meetings will take place on Wednesday afternoons from 4:30 – 5:30 pm. The first meeting this spring will take place on April 2nd. No registration is required to join them — just drop in!
