Plan your mini yard sale through the Friends of the Library’s “Community Yard Sale”

Start putting aside items you want to sell this June!

The Friends of the Southborough Library are planning a new fundraiser this spring. Members of the community will be able to purchase table space to sell items through a “Community Yard Sale”.

The Friends promote the event as “A wonderful opportunity to rid your home of clutter, old knick-knacks, mementos and any small items you’ve been meaning to get rid of for a while”.1

On Saturday, June 21st, part of the library’s parking lot at 25 Main Street will be dedicated to the fundraiser.

Consigners will be provided with a 10′ space, table and publicity. Each space purchased prior to June 14th is $25 — after that the price rises to $30 a table. Consigners keep 100% of whatever money they make. (The Friends reserve the right to refuse the sale of inappropriate material. All items must fit into a 10’ space. Anything unsold at 2pm must be removed by the seller.)

Proceeds from the sale of the yard sale spaces will go to promote the many programs held by the Friends of the Southborough Public Library to meet the community’s needs.

The rain date is June 28th.

Stay tuned for more details. In the meantime, if you’d like to be added to an email list when registration opens, email friendsofsouthboroughlib@gmail.com.
