Southborough Recreation is sponsoring a 3-day field hockey clinic for kids in grades four through six starting on Wednesday. The clinic with instructor Dan Welty runs daily from 9:00 to 11:00 am at 911 Memorial Field. The cost is $50 per person.
Here’s a description of the program.
This clinic will teach basic stick skills, game instruction and basic fundamentals. You will focus on developing stick skills, game strategy and game play. Skills learned will give you a head start toward involvement in a Middle and High School Field Hockey Program Players must bring their own shinguards, sticks will be provded. (Mouthguards are optional we will not be doing any contact between players and scrimmage situations, it is all skill based.)
