The state primary election is on September 14, and Southborough needs workers to help man the polls.
Election workers check voters in as they arrive and check them out after they have voted. The position is paid, with two shifts — either 6:00 am to 1:00 pm, or 1:00 to 8:00 pm. To qualify, you need to be a registered voter.
Assistant Town Clerk Michelle Jenkins said workers are primarily needed in Precinct 2 for the September election, but she said they’ll take names for the other precincts as backup, and in preparation for the November election.
