This is one of my favorite parts of Heritage Day. The annual Friends of the Library book and cookie sale will be held on Monday from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm at the Southborough Library. The sale features a great selection of books for all ages and interests … not to mention a great selection of cookies.
Donations of gently used books in advance of the sale are welcome, as are homemade cookies of any type. The sale is an important fundraiser for the Friends of the Library, which funds children and teen programs, the museum pass program offering free or discounted admission at area attractions, and much more.
