The Steeple Coffeehouse will kick off it’s 2010-2011 season on Saturday with a show by Alastair Moock and special guest Steve Mayone.

In its 14th season, the Steeple Coffeehouse (www.steeplecoffeehouse.org) is a volunteer-run non-profit organization that brings big names in the local folk and blues scene to Southborough. They hold monthly concerts — generally on the second Saturday of the month — at Pilgrim Church’s Fellowship Hall. Proceeds from the shows benefit Pilgrim Church’s Outreach Program which donates to a number of local charities.

Doors open at 7:00 pm and the show starts at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $15 in advance ($12 for students and seniors), and $18 at the door ($15 for students and seniors). You can buy tickets online here.

Tomasso Trattoria offers a special 3-course meal for Steeple Coffeehouse patrons on show nights. You can find details here.

Dinner and a show without leaving town. Could there be an easier date night?
