For the past two weeks, paintings of Chestnut Hill Farm and the Beals Preserve have graced the walls of the Southborough Arts Center, but the exhibit is coming to a close. The show will wrap up on Sunday with a closing reception from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.
The Southborough landscapes were all painted by artists from Oak Grove Painters. Some of the artists will be on hand during the reception on Sunday.
You can also see the art before the exhibit closes during normal gallery hours – today from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, and Saturday from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. The Arts Center is located at 21 Highland Street.
The exhibit was co-sponsored by the Arts Center and the Southborough Open Land Foundation.
The art work is lovely and, in my opinion, worth the visit. I like knowing that this group of artists from the Boston area has chosen our “rural scenes” to come and paint.
