The other week when we were talking about RAP (Recreation After-school Program) registration, I went off on a tangent about beasties. Beasties are the creation of retired Neary teacher Ray LaChance. In my post I said that while I had heard about beasties, I had never actually seen one. Thanks to 9-year-old Matthew Richardson, that has all changed.
Matthew sent in this beastie he drew when he was eight. He’s taken three beasties drawing classes with Mr. LaChance, so I’d say he’s got to be pretty much an expert by now. Here’s his fabulous creation:
