Handel’s Messiah is a holiday tradition for many, and this weekend you’ll have two chances to hear it. Here are all the details.
Pilgrim Church Choir
Sunday, December 12 at 10:00 am, Pilgrim Church (15 Common Street)
The Pilgrim Festival Choir, with instrumentalists and Soprano Elaine Crane and Tenor Ethan Bremner, will perform selections from Handel’s Messiah, especially from the Advent and Christmas portions, December 12 during worship. The music will take up about 40 minutes of the one-hour service. Minister of Music Grace Choi will conduct. Bring your friends and relatives. Care for younger children is provided downstairs.
Assabet Valley Mastersingers
Sunday, December 12 at 3:30 pm, Trinity Church (23 Main Street, Northborough)
oin the Mastersingers and soloists to sing the Christmas portion of Handel’s Messiah. Come listen or bring/borrow from us a score and sing along in this informal, exhilarating event.
