Both the state and national unemployment rates rose in November, but in Southborough our rate actually ticked down just a tiny bit. In town we went from 6.0% in October to 5.9% in November.
During the same time period, the state unemployment rate increased from 7.7% to 8.1% and the national rate rose from 9.0% to 9.3%.
