A regional philanthropic organization recently distributed a total of $50K to 39 food pantries in the area, and Southborough got a piece of the pie. The Foundation for MetroWest awarded $1,000 to the Southborough Food Pantry.
Founded in 1995, the Foundation for MetroWest operates under a philosophy I wholeheartedly support, that you can make a world of difference in your own backyard. In their 15 years, the foundation has distributed more than $5 million to local nonprofits, supporting their work in human services, environment, youth development and arts and culture.
