As part of their annual fundraiser, Southborough Boy Scout Troop 1 gathered up and disposed of more than 150 Christmas trees last weekend. They were able to complete the task in just three hours thanks to five teams of drivers, some trailers, and of course, the scouts themselves.
Donations raised during the event will go toward the troop’s trip to Alaska this summer.
Troop 1 leader Tom Lowell sent in some photos from the event along with his thanks. “Troop 1 really appreciates all the support the scouts receive from our town,” he wrote.
