Weeks spent studying on our nation’s founding culminated in the annual Colonial Day celebration at Neary School on Friday. Fifth graders dressed up in period costumes and participated in traditional games and crafts, including sewing, tin smithing, butter making, hoop and stick games, and relay races. The celebration finished with a parade around the school.
