The Genesis Fund is looking for student athletes from Southborough and surrounding towns to help out with its Family Fund Fest event on Saturday. In particular, they need high school and college-aged soccer, basketball, and lacrosse players to help coach clinics during the event.
Organizers are also looking for two artistic volunteers to help with the face painting booth.
Family Fun Fest takes place on Saturday, April 30 at ForeKicks in Marlborough. It’s a fundraiser for The Genesis Fund, a Massachusetts-based non-profit that provides medical care for kids born with genetic diseases.
In addition to sports clinics, the event will feature carnival games, laser tag, a moon bounce, and more. Susan Wornick from Channel 5 news will be the official greeter. You can see a brochure here.
If you’re interested in volunteering, contact Southborough resident Kathryn Korostoff at k.korostoff@yahoo.com. Tickets to the event can be purchased online here.
