The parade isn’t Southborough’s only Memorial Day tradition. Another is placing an American flag at the grave of every Southborough veteran in tribute to their service to the country.
VFW Post 3276 and American Legion Post 161 will lead the flag-placing on Friday, May 27 starting at 6:00 pm in the Rural Cemetery on Route 85. All Southborough residents are invited to join them. The group will meet in front of the Maintenance Building at the back of the cemetery.
