The regular season is winding down, with only a few games scheduled for this week. Postseason schedules for a number of teams like baseball and tennis will be announced this week, but the Algonquin boys and girls lacrosse team already knows what’s in store for them. Both made the postseason, and both will play in their respective division quarter-final games on Saturday.
The top-seed boys will take on either Shrewsbury or Nashoba Valley at 3:00 pm on Saturday. The third-seed girls will face either Shrewsbury or Bromfield. Depending on who you ask, the game starts at either 1:00 or 2:00 on Saturday (anyone know for sure?). Both games take place at Algonquin.

* The time of the girls lacrosse quarterfinals is unclear. Some sources say 1:00, others say 2:00. Hopefully the actual start time will become clear as the week progresses.
The latest info I have is that the girls LAX will now play @ 2:30 and boys @ 4:30; on the football field.
Also, girls softball hosts Doherty on Fri PM at ARHS.
