The Friends of the Southborough Library will hold their annual book sale on Heritage Day, Monday, October 10, and they’re accepting donations of gently-used books. You can deliver book donations to the library up until Friday, October 7.
To go along with the book sale, the Southborough Library Teens are organizing a cookie sale, and they’re looking for donations, too. Drop off homemade cookies to donate to the sale on Saturday, October 8 during library hours (10:00 am to 5:00 pm), or early on Monday.
Proceeds from the cookie sale will benefit library programing for teens, while proceeds from the book sale will help support the popular museum pass program, refreshments for various library book groups, and the purchase of special-purpose furniture and shelving for the library.
The book sale will be held at the Southborough Library on Monday, October 10, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. For more information or to volunteer, contact Library Director Jane Cain at 508.485.5031.
I will be at the book sale, as will other Southborough authors. I’ll be signing and selling copies of my mystery novel, Purgatory Chasm, and donating a portion of the proceeds to the library. Hope to see many folks there!
