A house on Sears Road was broken into shortly before 1:00 am on Saturday while the residents were at home. The two intruders fled when they encountered the homeowners, and managed to elude police, but two other accomplices were captured. On November 19, 2011, at 12:41 AM- Officers responded to a residence on Sears Road for a report of intruders in the home. The officers were informed that two suspects had entered the residence and encountered the homeowner – causing them to flee from the residence. An additional two suspects were apprehended in a vehicle that was parked adjacent to the residence.
State Police K9 and Marlborough Police assisted with the search, but were unsuccessful in locating the other two suspects.
The two arrested were 18 yr. old Kevin Assis of Framingham, MA , and 19 yr. old Juan Lopez, also from Framingham. These suspects have been charged with B & E in the night time with intent to commit a felony, conspiracy, accessory before and after the fact, violation of a restraining order and minor transporting liquor. The Southborough Police continue to look for the other two suspects.
