It’s Girl Scout cookie time!
Southborough scouts joined others in Eastern Massachusetts this week in kicking off their annual Girl Scout cookie sale. It’s a big fundraiser for Southborough troops, with up to $0.75 of each box sold going directly back to support local troop activities. The cookie sale also helps the girls develop important leadership skills.
Southborough has around 35 Girl Scout troops, with members ranging in age from kindergarten through high school. If one of those Girl Scouts doesn’t knock on your door, don’t fret. As always, the girls will sell cookies at various spots around town for your convenience.
I’ll let you know where and when you can get your cookie fix as details become available.
