Strong winds raced through Southborough yesterday. One weather site I checked showed average wind speeds topping out at 30 mph, with gusts as high as 51 mph.
A Gilmore Road sent in this photo of an 89-foot spruce tree that was toppled by the winds. Fortunately, it didn’t do any damage except to the fence.
How are things in your neck of the woods? Any damage to trees or property? Share in the comments.
whew! I’m thinking perhaps that Hurricane Irene and the October snowstorm got rid of weak/loose branches/trees, so maybe damage was minimal this time around? Haven’t heard of any power outages.
