Southborough residents Bruce and Linda Ledoux were at Gillete Stadium in Foxborough on Sunday, but it wasn’t just to watch the Patriots game. In a field-side ceremony, the couple, who founded Guardian Angel Motorsports, donated $15,000 to the Boys and Girls Club of Boston in honor of the Myra Kraft Foundation.
It was the latest in a growing list of donations made by the Ledoux’s through their non-profit. Since its founding in 2008, GAM has donated more than $168K to various children’s charities.
On the organization’s website, Bruce explains that the motivation behind GAM is personal. The Ledoux’s son Colin was born with a chromosomal abnormality that affects his brain development. “I’ve felt so powerless about the situation, that I used my professional wealth advisory skill set to create GAM with Dave Quinlan and Tom Sheehan to raise awareness for Colin and other kids that need a helping hand—no matter what their disabilities, diseases or challenges,” Bruce wrote.

Bruce and Linda are great people – and great racers, too! Good for them.
