Earlier this week I told you about a new support group for parents of teenagers. Today I have something for those at the other end of the parenting spectrum. Beginning later this month, Southboro Medical will offer a class for those working their way through the toddler years. It’s open to both Southboro Medical patients and non-patients.

It focuses on strengthening parents’ skills in such important areas as monitoring, positive discipline, and confidence, and in fostering parents’ involvement in children’s school experiences. The goal of the Incredible Years parent training course is to help children thrive emotionally, academically, and socially, and to reduce behavior problems.
