A snow plow caught fire this morning on Route 495 South at Simarano Drive. The Southborough Fire Department responded and extinguished the fire within minutes. There were no injuries, but the truck sustained heavy damage.
Up to two lanes were closed during the incident and traffic was slow through the area. The fire department cleared the scene just before 9:00 am as the first flakes began to accumulate.
