The Algonquin basketball program will offer a skills camp at the high school over February vacation for boys and girls in grades 4 through 8. The camp will be run by varsity head coaches Brian Doherty and Ron Jones with help from the varsity boys and girls players.
The 4-day camp will offer:
- Fundamentals and skills development
- One-on-one and small group instruction by ARHS coaching staff and boys varsity players
- Competitive game conditions (3×3, 5×5)
The program runs from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm on February 18-21. You can find more information and a registration form here. Space is limited. The cost is $100 and includes a t-shirt for each participant.
Updated 1/29: The camp age range has been expanded to include boys and girls in fourth grade.
