Resources you may need before, during, and after the storm

We don’t know exactly how much snow we’re going to get over the next 36 hours, but it’s probably safe to assume it’s going to be a fair bit. Forecasters say the snow will be wet and heavy. Combine that with blizzard-strength winds, and there’s a real potential for downed trees and limbs along with power outages.

In the event you need assistance before, during, or after the storm, here are some numbers that might help.

Important phone numbers

• For medical and other emergencies: 9-1-1
• To report trees/limbs down or other non-emergency situations to the Southborough Police: (508) 485-2147
• To report a National Grid outage at your house or neighborhood: 800-322-3223 or website
• To report wires down or an electrical emergency to National Grid: (800) 465-1212
• To report a Verizon outage: 1-800-VERIZON (1-800-837-4966)
• General response information: Mass 211, dial 2-1-1 and ask for Southborough
