Summer was so short, I’m having trouble letting go. I still don’t quite believe that school really starts on Wednesday.
But it does. So I hope you got your back to school supplies.

2013-14 district Calendar – It’s time to pay attention to this. There is a school holiday as soon as next week (and I don’t mean Labor Day). Thursday, September 5th is Rosh Hashanah.
Currently there is no updated central source for school events. So also keep an eye on the relevant schools’ websites and emails for special dates like half days and conferences. (I was shocked to see Woodward and Finn’s calendar’s listings of September 19th as a noon dismissal.)
The superintendents’ office mailed out this Back to School newsletter. There’s a lot of great information in there from each school’s principal.
