ARHS Girls Soccer beat out two time division champs Nashoba Regional this week. The Sentinel-Enterprise reports:
The defending back-to-back CMass. champs watched their bid for a three-peat end at the hands of talented Algonquin Regional Wednesday night, as feisty freshman Kate Hostage potted the lone goal early in the second half and the second-seeded Tomahawks fended off a late Chieftain charge en route to a 1-0 victory in a semifinal at Nashoba Regional High School. Now they head to the finals at Grafton this Saturday, November 9, at 3:00 pm. The team will face off against Westborough.
Boys Soccer already faced Westborough in their semi-finals this week. They met with disappointment, losing 1-0.
Girls Volleyball also fell to their semi-final competition. 4th seed Lincoln-Sudbury beat the 1st seed team 3-2.
Thanks to New England weather, Field Hockey had to postpone Wednesday’s finals. The new match is set for this Saturday, 11:00 am at Grafton.
